Business Model
The CCM business model is built around individual career coaching and long-term relationships with our clients. This is different to the normal offering of 'career transition' programs which typically provide group training with some added 1-on-1 time with a consultant. It is also different from career counselling, where advice is traditionally based on psychometric testing.
From our perspective, we would like to be your individual career manager. This means we assist you with planning your career as your ideas about where to go next change. We also assist with the actual career transitions, whether you are applying for a new role internally or going out into the open job market.
All the assistance we offer is based on many years of executive coaching experience combined with deep knowledge of a large range of industries and intimate knowledge of how the open and hidden job markets operate. Our consultants have been assisting clients with career coaching for over 10 years.
We also know that career and personal life interact and that career choices are subject to competing needs, wants and constraints. We are well versed in navigating this space and helping individuals make the right choice for them at this time. Our approach to coaching is based on high-quality advice combined with utmost integrity is presenting available choices and their implications for you.
We will always be honest in our assessment of you, even when we disagree with the choice you make. Disagreeing with your choice does not mean we stop supporting you, coaching to us is about making informed choices and getting sound, practical tools and strategies to translate a choice into outcomes that are valuable to you.
Our aim is to know your career history, so you only come in 'cold' once. This greatly simplifies the process when you return at any point in the future and opens the door to new support services that we will be able to offer.
